Jewelry made of 14k gold filled and .925 sterling silver can get wet in the shower, ocean, etc. but should be dried off as much as possible and stored in a cool dry place, such as a closed box or bag.

Please note: it is possible for sterling silver to tarnish eventually, especially in humid climates, but any tarnish can be usually be easily removed in warm soapy water or by using a soft cloth.
